Authentic Feelings

As the Children gasp for breath

We sing carols full of zest

Not realizing the small Children’s distress

We sing melody & jingle the bells

FULLY knowing, there is NO Santa

It’s just a fable to make kids happy

But the MARTYRDOM is True

Yet remembered by MINISCULE few

We teach our children The Christmas story

We are not bothered about teaching our history

Then we crib, about our children’s morals!

Well, didn’t you think when you made them sing Carol’s?

As per history, the children didn’t get a sip of water

But now we eat the cake with wine

What you sow, that you reap

Later; don’t you weep

It’s someone’s culture, let them enjoy

BUT, our history don’t destroy

Our children’s feet are in 2 boats

And do you realise, they are not standing alone!!!
